Sensory Friendly Saturdays
It’s a New Year & we have new sensory experiences waiting for you!
This month’s event will feature a special program hosted by our friends from Center for Autism and Related Disorders – the world’s largest autism treatment provider. In addition, families will have the opportunity to explore our Snoezelen® Multi-Sensory Environment & enjoy sensory friendly activities meant to improve your child’s ability to process and regulate sensory information.
Event highlights include:
– art programs
– stage performances
– yoga & calming movement programming
– the opportunity for families to meet and speak with Occupational Therapists & Speech Pathologists
RSVP is required to email@example.com or or call (305) 373-5437 ext. 130. (social stories are available upon request!)
Sensory Friendly Saturday is created specifically for children with sensory processing disorders and general development delay to enjoy the Museum in a modified and supportive environment with their families.
Please note, the Museum opens to the public at 11:00 am.
